LWS offers you 3 premium plugins from Elegant Themes (Divi, Bloom and Monarch). These are updated regularly. Once you are an LWS customer, you will have free access to these plugins by choosing the 'Divi Builder' distribution when installing the Wordpress CMS with our Auto-Installer.
If you have a cPanel package or have already installed Wordpress with this distribution, but do not have access to all the themes or updates, please let us know by giving us the access details for the administration area of your Wordpress site so that a technician can update the licence.
Please note: you will need to take out an Elegant Themes licence to benefit from support. LWS does not provide support for these products.
Extra comes with two ready-to-use review systems: a system that allows you to add a product review to any post, and a user review system. Both of these features are perfect for encouraging reader engagement.
You can add a product review to any post you like. When you create a new post, you'll notice a box called "Review Box Contents...". In this box, there are fields with which you can configure the content of the Review Box Contents. If you don't want this item to be displayed below the content of a post, simply leave the fields empty.
Review Box Title
This is the text that will be used as the title of the box.
Summary
The text entered here will appear to the right of the overall product rating.
Summanry Title
This is the text that will appear in bold before your summary.
Breakdown
Breakdowns are the components that make up the overall score.
Title
This is the title text describing the breakdown.
Rating
This is your score for the breakdown and must be between 0 and 100.
Visitors to your site can submit a star rating on all posts/articles for which you have not explicitly disabled (hidden) ratings. When you create a new article, you will notice a box entitled"Extra Settings". To disable ratings for the post, simply select the"Hide Post Rating" option.
The overall rating for a post is displayed along with its meta-information (e.g. Date, Categories, Tags, etc.) in different areas of the theme. You can enable/disable the inclusion of ratings in the meta-information of your site's posts, pages and archive pages from the Extra settings.
You can also control the inclusion of ratings in post meta information for all modules that display post meta (for example, Blog Module, Post Modules, Portfolio Modules, etc). You can control this for all modules (globally) from the Extra Customizer module as well as at the level of each module from the module parameters (when editing a post or a page).
You now know how to manage customer reviews from your Extra!
See you soon for a new tutorial ;)
