I. What is Managed Services?

The facilities management service we offer allows any customer to request priority technical intervention on your shared hosting or mail Pro package.

Under Managed Services, the LWS technical team acts remotely on the customer's account and performs the actions requested by the customer, provided they are eligible for the service.

Our support team can also refer you to a managed service, if the resolution of your problem goes beyond the standard support provided with your service.

II. How do I choose the right outsourcing solution for the task in hand?

It's important to choose the right type of outsourcing. When you open a managed service, you choose a fixed price corresponding to the estimated time required to carry out a specific task. If you open a Managed Services contract that is too short, LWS agents will not be able to carry it out and may ask you to open another Managed Services contract (you will of course be reimbursed for the wrongly opened contract).

Managed services lasting 15 minutes

  • Modification of DNS or records in the DNS zone of the domain name (the value of the records must be supplied by the customer)
  • Activation of a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate
  • Installation of a CMS via the LWS auto-installer
  • Connection problem between the website (CMS) and the MySQL database.
  • Configuring a "Host" file on a computer following website migration to LWS hosting.
  • Configuration of an email address on a messaging software or a mobile phone (remote control of the device via the RustDesk software - excluding mobile devices).
  • Creation of email addresses (1 to 5 addresses, list provided by customer)
  • Migration of email address content from another service provider to LWS (1 to 5, connection parameters and address list provided by the customer)

Outsourcing for 30 minutes

  • Import or export of a MySQL database
  • Configuration of email addresses on a messaging software or a mobile phone (2 to 5 email addresses, one outsourcing per device, remote control of the device via the RustDesk software - excluding mobile devices)
  • Creation of email addresses (6 to 15 addresses, list provided by the customer)
  • Migration of email address content from another service provider to LWS (6 to 15, connection parameters and address list provided by the customer)
  • Specific log research (logs supplied in raw format as text files, their interpretation remains the responsibility of the customer or the competent authorities who have requested it)

Outsourcing for a period of 45 minutes

  • Backup search, provision or restoration (1 facilities management service per hosting package)

Managed services lasting 1 hour

  • Migration of a CMS site from one LWS hosting package to another LWS hosting package
  • Moving a shop or CMS from one directory to another.
  • Changing the domain name of a CMS
  • Problem receiving email or SPAM
  • Configuration of email addresses on a messaging software or a mobile phone (6 to 10 email addresses, outsourcing per device, remote control of the device via the RustDesk software - excluding mobile devices)
  • Creation of email addresses (16 to 25 addresses, list provided by the customer)
  • Migration of email address content from another service provider to LWS (16 to 25, connection parameters and address list supplied by the customer)

Outsourcing for 3 hours

  • Clean-up of an infected WordPress site

III. What happens after I order outsourcing?

Once you have opted for outsourcing, a technician will get back to you within the hour. A technician may call you back at this point, but a phone call from a technician is not systematic, depending on whether the situation requires it.

The technician will then agree with you how the work is to be carried out.

Once your request has been properly defined with our technical teams, they will work on it immediately.

As soon as our teams have completed your request, an email is sent to you indicating the operations that have been carried out.

1. Log in to the LWS Panel customer area

2. In the blue banner at the top of the page, click on the"Support" button.

5. Explain your request in as much detail as possible. The more detailed and explicit you are about your request, the quicker it can be carried out by our technical staff.

6. Indicate the subject of your request, if it is for example an email problem, a website problem, a domain name configuration problem, etc...

Bonjour, vous avez la possibilité de changer de formule en vous rendant sur votre espace client LWS, cliquez sur "Gérer" se trouvant derrière le nom de domaine puis sur "Changer de formule" se trouvant dans la rubrique "Assistance, formules et options" en bas de page.
