In order to correctly link your domain name to your Pro mail service, you first need to find out which IP(s) you need to know in order to configure it.
Step 1 : First, you need to log in to your LWS account and access the shared hosting or mail service you want to link to.
Step 2: In the right-hand column "Account information" you will see theserver IP which corresponds to the IP of the mail server and theoutgoing dedicated IP which is the IP to be configured for sending if you have subscribed to the SMTP Premium option.
If you already have a hosting package managed by the LWS Panel and if your domain name is already linked to the mail service associated with your LWS hosting package, then you don't need to do anything. The domain is already using the Pro mail service in addition to your mail service linked to your hosting package.
Step 1: First of all, you need to log in to your cPanel account for which you want to link your domain name to the Pro mail service.
Step 2: Go to the "Domains" section and click on the "Zone Editor" icon.
You will be redirected to another page.
Step 3 : Click on the "Manage " button for the domain name to which you want to link your Pro mail service.
A new window appears, listing the DNS Zone records for your domain name on cPanel.
Step 4: You then need to modify the following records:
1. change the destination of your domain's MX record to mail.domain.ext instead of domain.ext (domain.ext being your domain name)
2. change the CNAME record for mail.domaine.ext to a type A record and enter themail server IP of your Pro mail service.
3. if you have subscribed to the SMTP Premium Dedicated IP option with your Pro mail service, you will also need to add the following Type A record:
iddediee.domaine.ext A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx being replaced by the value of theoutgoing Dedicated IP of the Pro mail service).
Step 5: Return to the home page of the cPanel control panel and click on the"Email Routing" icon in the"Email" category.
Step 6: On the page that appears, select the"remote mail server" setting and then click on the"edit" button.
Once these actions have been carried out, please wait a few hours for the DNS changes to propagate before checking that everything is working properly.
To link your domain to your Pro mail service, you need to change the following records in your domain's DNS Zone:
1. change the destination of your domain's MX record to mail.domain.ext instead of domain.ext (domain.ext being your domain name)
2. modify (or create) the mail.domaine.ext record to make it a type A record and enter themail server IP of your Pro mail service.
3. if you have subscribed to the SMTP Premium Dedicated IP option with your Pro mail service, you will also need to add the following Type A record:
iddediee.domaine.ext A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx being replaced by the value of theoutgoing Dedicated IP of the Pro mail service).
