I. Choosing the right CMS

Before getting started, it's important to choose the CMS that best suits your needs. The LWS Ecommerce self-installer offers a selection of popular platforms for creating an online shop, such as WordPress with Woocommerce, Prestashop or OpenCart. Each CMS has its own features and benefits, so it's a good idea to compare their characteristics to find the one that best suits your goals and skills.

3 CMS are available on the Ecommerce autoinstaller supplied:

• WordPress: a popular, user-friendly CMS, ideal for showcase sites, blogs and small business sites. Its Woocomerce extension makes it easy to create an Ecommerce shop.
• OpenCart: CMS specialising in the creation of light to medium-sized online shops, with an intuitive interface and a host of e-commerce features.
• PrestaShop 1.7: popular, user-friendly CMS for creating professional online shops, offering extensive functionality and great flexibility.

II. Accessing the LWS self-installer

1 Log in to your customer account and click on"Manage" next to the domain you wish to install.

2. Click on the"E-commerce Shop" button in the"Software" section.

3. Then select the CMS you wish to install.

4. enter the address at which your website will be accessible

From this form, you can select on which sub-domain the application will be installed (e.g. https://boutique.mondomaine.com), and from which domain it will be available if you are using the multi-domain feature. You can also specify a specific directory if you want to install several sites on the same domain (e.g. https://mondomaine.com/boutique).

Depending on the application you choose, you can configure various parameters such as the administrator account or the site name. For the WordPress CMS, you can also choose pre-installed plugins or themes.
